Wheel of Life

The Wheel of Life is inspired by buddhist cosmology (Mandala) that describes the meaning of life. The wheel shape is dynamic and enhances the feel of watching performances and viewing the vista of the Borobudur temple. Using the monument as the backdrop and terminating vista for the view from the cultural center. The cultural center itself will boast many facilities such as performance stage, gallery spaces, roof gardens, viewing decks, and a cafe. There will also be a manmade pond which will act as an irrigation pond that will collect the rainwater in this area.  

The Wheel of Life terinspirasi dari kosmologi buddha (Mandala) yang mendeskripsikan "arti dari hidup". Bentuk roda yang dinamis meningkatkan pengalaman menonton pertunjukan dan melihat pemandangan ke Candi Borobudur. Menggunakan candi sebagai latar belakang yang mengakhiri pemandangan dari pusat kebudayaan. Pusat kebudayaan ini sendiri memiliki berbagai macam fasilitas seperti panggung pertunjukan, galeri pameran, atap hijau, dek pemandangan, dan kafe. Dirancang juga danau buatan yang berfungsi untuk irigasi dan mengumpulkan air hujan di area Candi Borobudur.
