Hydrogen Vehicles

Cars can emit water instead of carbon dioxide? Since 2008 there has been development by car companies to create hydrogen fuel cell cars. One of the first cars I have seen in this concept was the Honda FCX Clarity which waas driven in the popular car tv show Top Gear by James May. This concept was revolutionary as it could help reduce green house gases emitted by cars if it was to be realized. Hyundai was the company to first produce a hydrogen fuel cell car commercially to the world with the Tucson FCEV. So the car is powered by a fuel cell where hydrogen and oxygen are combined to generate an electric current, and the only by-product is water. There are no moving parts in the fuel cell so they are more efficient and reliable than a conventional combustion engine. There are downsides though to the hydrogen vehicle, as it is a highly combustible gas, and there is a lack of fuel stations for the vehicles.
