World during self-isolation

I stumbled upon an interesting article from design boom a couple of weeks past. During these times, the coronavirus outbreak has deeply affected our lives and the earth in that matter. Governmental advice to practice physical distancing from others has reduced human interruption towards the environment. Reducing plane travel as well as going outside has brought wildlife back into cities and urban areas. One of the cities which has gotten this impact is Venice where wildlife appears too have returned. In early march, Italian prime minister conte signed the decree called ‘io resto a casa’ (I stay at home), instructing Italians to leave their home except for work, health and emergency reasons. This resulted in the country’s landmarks, piazzas, and towns, which are usually packed with tourists to be deserted. Dolphins have emerged by the port of Cagliari on the Italian island of Sardinia. The water in the canals of Venice has also cleared up with swans returning.
